WOOD uses movement, theatre, film, sound, and performance art to bring to stage the diverse obsessions of 1950s cult filmmaker Ed Wood, director of such infamous films as Plan 9 From Outer Space and Glen or Glenda, and acknowledged transvestite. Mid-century Americana; pulp fiction; sci-fi, horror and cowboy film genres; Wood’s films; and biographical research provide content for this ensemble-created performance installation.
